Had I not told you I don’t think you’d know this amazing dish was made using leftovers! Last night’s steak can become today’s treat! 識食必定要惜食!唔講你肯定唔知,呢道菜其實用昨天宴會上吃不完的牛排,再活用家中配料,堅持 No Wastage,讓昨晚的歡樂延長多一天!
Method: To make your steak more interesting it is ideal to buy some fresh ingredients to accompany it. In this instance, some very healthy cherry tomatoes, small rainbow carrots and quinoa were chosen. I also didn’t use the oven in order to make things quick and simple.
First off cook some quinoa using a small pot. On the other hand cook some rainbow carrots in a pan of boiling water adding a dash of olive oil.
Now in a frying pan add olive oil and a cube of butter, when the oil is hot turn to medium heat, and add in the streaks of herbs. Put in the beef and using a spoon pour the oil on the beef.
Repeat this step numerous times. Season with salt and pepper and it’s ready to serve. For the cherry tomatoes I like to have them raw, but you can always choose to lightly fry them too!
Lastly, don’t forget to add a dash of Dijon mustard!
•PS Be flexible with the compliments. You could use potatoes, asparagus, pasta etc.
•PPS English mustard can be used instead of Dijon.
